By the end of our clinic we saw over 700 people. While it was rewarding to teach them and help them with their medical issues, it was rewarding to know how much we learned from them. My last day I helped in triage while it was busy, but then spent the rest of my day outside in the public education station. We discussed breastfeeding and nutrition, family planning methods, sexual education and menopause. We separated the men and women into groups and educated them separately. Knowing that as a team we saw over 700 family and community members was so uplifting. Using our nursing education across the world was an incredible experience.
